Small or large, organizations need to accept that you can no longer invest huge amounts of human and financial resources towards one event, in an economic downturn and expect to net the same or increase cash. Working smarter, working together, coordinating dates and kinds of events makes sense. Good to get the ball rolling ladies.
ReplyDeleteI just went to the new calendar and was really impressed with how much is there already. I'm going to forward the email address for adding things to a couple groups I volunteer with. Will you post pictures here from the different events?

ReplyDeleteSusan, although there are darn few events that one of us isn't attending, another thing people can do is to email a photo or two from your event that clearly shows faces of organizers or volunteers or supporters such as the photos on the right side of this blog. Also include left to right identifications of the people pictured.
